Tim Lincecum, aka “The Freak” has finally made a decision on the next baseball team he will play for, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Lincecum has spent his offseason in Scottsdale rehabbing after a hip surgery on September 3rd. On May 6th, Lincecum finally auditioned in front of major league scouts in Scottsdale on about a 40 pitch bullpen, however he did not pitch against any live hitting. Details have not yet been released on the contract and the deal is pending until Lincecum passes a physical.

Lincecum, one of baseball’s best pitchers in his prime, won the National League Cy Young Award in 2008 and 2009 and made four All-Star Game appearances. He also helped the Giants win three World Series titles in five years.
